SHELBURNE FARMS COACH BARN - SHELBURNE , VT
Shelburne Farms was created in 1886 by William Seward and Lila Vanderbilt Webb as a model agricultural estate. In 1972, it was founded as an educational nonprofit. The Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms hosts a variety of special events, conferences, exhibits and functions . Shelburne Farms’ annual Art Exhibition & Sale is held here every September. The site enables agricultural, environmental and cultural groups to convene in an inspiring setting

THE NATIONAL ARTS CLUB - NEW YORK CITY
The National Arts Club is a private club founded in 1898 to "stimulate, foster, and promote public interest in the arts and to educate the American people in the fine arts". Since 1906 the organization has occupied the Samuel J.Tilden House, a landmark Gothic Revival brownstone. The club offers a variety of shows, educational programs, and awards in areas including theater, visual arts, film, literature, and music.The National Arts Club is one of the few private clubs which has, since its inception, admitted women as full and equal members. Among the distinguished painters who have been members are Robert Henri, Frederick Remington, William Merritt Chase and Cecilia Beaux. Sculptors have included Saint Gaudens, Daniel Chester French, Anna Hyatt Huntington and Paul Manship. Many renowned literary figures, including W.H. Auden and Mark Twain have been members.

THE BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY - BOSTON
When it opened in 1895, the new Boston Public Library was proclaimed a "palace for the people." This building included a children's room, the first in the nation, and a sculpture garden in its central courtyard surrounded by an arcaded gallery in the manner of a Renaissance cloister. The Boston Public Library is the largest municipal public library in the United States. It is also the first publicly supported municipal library in the United States, the first large library open to the public in the United States, and the first public library to allow people to borrow books and other materials and take them home to read and use. It regularly hosts important exhibits of a historical and artist nature. Two million visitors enjoy visiting the library every year.

THE SOUTHERN VERMONT ART CENTER - MANCHESTER, VT
The Southern Vermont Arts Center showcases rotating exhibits and its permanent collection of more than 700 pieces of 19th- and 20th-century American art in a 12,500-square-foot museum. The arts center's original building, a graceful Georgian mansion set on 407 acres, is the frequent site of concerts, performances, and film screenings.

Housed in a beautiful 1896 Queen Victorian home, the Chaffee has served professional and student artists of Vermont for over forty-five years.
