Wren’s Nest Explorers: All Sessions

OVERVIEW

Everyone welcome!

Calling all 4-6 year olds for a week of outdoors fun and exploration. Join the skilled teachers of the Wren’s Nest Forest Preschool for a week (or more!) of adventures, games, art, music, hiking and making friends. These week-long camp sessions will be held entirely outdoors at the Willowell Land in Monkton (36 Stoney Meadow Lane). Children will take daily hikes in the forest to build fairy houses, climb rocks, and learn from the land. There will be a morning circle and structured games or art, followed by lunch under the trees, a quiet/story time under the shade of the pine trees, and an afternoon of free play and exploration.

This camp is open to current Wren’s Nest students, prospective and incoming students, and any young child who loves the outdoors and is ready to hike and explore. Please note the students will use a yurt for inclement weather, but this camp will take place fully outdoors through varying conditions. Students should come prepared to get dirty and explore the natural environment.

Students will open and pack their own food. There will be a porta-let for bathroom needs and water for hand washing.

*Please note, there is no camp on the day of July 4th, the cost for Session One ($220) is reflective of a shorter camp week.
